2016 La Fortuna Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG & 2018 Bibi Graetz Testamatta IGT
For me the wines of Tuscany are the perfect match for food. They stand up quite well against tomato based sauces but can work equally well with more delicate dishes like fish. These two were shared at Buon Vino on a typical Friday night locker holder gathering. No detailed notes other than these were quite lovely with the BdM my personal favorite. No knocks against the IGT which was quite quaffable and easy to consume with just some snacks. Enjoy!
